Research Evidence

MyLifeTool was designed following research exploring the experience of self-managing a neurological condition. This research resulted in the development of a framework for self-managing neurological conditions which forms the structure of the tool:

Kılınç, S., Erdem, H., Healey, R., & Cole, J. (2020). Finding meaning and purpose: a framework for the self-management of neurological conditions. Disability and Rehabilitation, 44(2), 219–230. https://doi.org/10.1080/09638288.2020.1764115

NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North East and North Cumbria funding

In 2021 we received funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC) to evaluate the effectiveness and experiences of using MyLifeTool.
